In a world where wishes made at 11.11am come true, a frustrated baker struggles to open his own cafe and choose between two loves: his long-time best friend and a successful critic.

A widowed Oslovian (IDA) and a rebellious punk rocker from St. Paul, Minnesota (AKSEL) discover they’re co-beneficiaries to the will of Ida’s brother. Ida has no idea who this prickly, witty, resourceful foreigner is. Neither she nor Aksel has a clue why he was named a beneficiary for although his mother is Norwegian, she has no relation to Ida or her deceased brother. Or so it seems at first. Yet per the terms of the will, they have 2 weeks to decide on who gets what, and at story’s outset both are almost broke. If they can´t agree, the entire estate goes to charity. It´s hate at first sight. Aksel and Ida start from the same negotiating position. I deserve 100%. You? Zero.

A young mother on the run from an assassin hands off her child in desperation to a perfect stranger on a tube or subway train before being killed by the assassin. For the next 6 episodes in a story that will take us from London to the Republic of Ireland to the Isle of Man - with scenes also set in the borderlands between Syria and Turkey where the father of the child lives with his Daesh family -audiences will have to ask themselves the same question the man who has the child must ask himself: how far will he, and would you go to protect the life of a stranger's child? Especially a child whose life or death has political consequences not only for the man who took him, but his country, Britain, and that of the mother of the child and his own mother, Ireland. YOUNG A'S CHAPTER I. “A WORLD ALONE” “You're my best friend, and we're dancing in a world alone” The first days of college life. Jeremiah tries to join a fraternity, Danneel tries to enjoy a party. What are they really longing for? A connection. Structurally, the first chapter is divided in three parts, each one indicated with a label on screen. The first one, “Him”, is centered on Jeremiah, and is present as a quasi-musical; four original songs are present in this part. The second part, “Her”, is all about Danneel, and plays with her inner monologue. Both parts chronicle the same day, when Jeremiah and Danneel go to a fraternity party, the first one trying to join said fraternity. The last part, “Them”, found them after the party, in a neutral point, and is present as a mini “bottle episode”, with the action center exclusively in a conversation between the both. This is the beginning of their friendship.

The will is worth a fortune,and both of them are close to broke. Yet per the terms of the will, they have 60 days to decide on who gets what. If they can´t agree, everything goes to charity. The problem is they can't stand each other, both need whatever's in the will , and feel they deserve it all. They have to work it out or they´ll both end up penniless. They start from the same negotiating position: Me? 100%. You? Zero. Various characters try to get them to learn how to compromise, but in the end they blow it. Which leads to the most surprising truth about why they were both in the will.
