A Roller Derby Game is a series of 11 poems that depict different moments in the course of a roller derby game. The11 poems are called: 1. In the changing room 2. Captain's pep talk 3. In the bench 4. Jam line 5. Stuck in the wall 6. Lost Lead 7. In the penalty box 8. Star pass 9. Cheering 10. Over time jam 11. Final Whistle Each poem is accompanied by a simple drawing that illustrates visually what the poem talks about

I wrote “The Goose´s perspective “in other language as a catharsis, so as to catch the last ghosts of the hiding places of my mind. ¿Cómo hacer un duelo por la muerte de tu hijo recién nacido, a la vez que aprendes a cuidar a su hermana melliza? ¿Cómo se va atenuando el dolor de la madre de una recién estrenada familia monoparental? "La perspectiva de la oca" recorre ese túnel oscuro en el que solo una luz pudo salvarme. Llevaba el nombre de Nikole. Escribí “La Perspectiva de la Oca” en otro idioma como catarsis, con la intención de llegar a los últimos fantasmas ocultos en los recovecos de mi mente.
