About the work
Every Child’s 11 Virtues is a work of pedagogical children's literature tailored for readers aged 5 to 12. The book aims to strengthen young readers' inner worlds through a carefully curated selection of tales inspired by world mythologies, classical fables, and modern-day dilemmas.
Unlike traditional storybooks, this work is structured as a supportive emotional guidebook for parents, teachers, and children to navigate together. The book addresses eleven foundational virtues, strategically divided into three main blocks:
The Cardinal Virtues: The pillars of a noble character (Prudence, Justice, Fortitude, and Temperance) that teach the value of balance and classic self-awareness, handed down since the days of ancient Greece.
The Social Virtues: The invisible threads (Empathy and Compassion, Responsibility and Sustainability, Integrity and Honesty, Patience and Resilience, and Inclusion and Respect) that connect us to others and remind us of the beauty of living in a community.
The Digital Virtues: The essential tools of the new century (Digital Disconnection and Critical Thinking) necessary to navigate the vast ocean of technology without losing our human essence.
Chapter Structure: Each of the 11 virtues is approached through a three-step didactic methodology, designed to extend the reading experience far beyond the fiction itself:
The Tale: An immersive narrative rich in metaphors and polished prose, starring children, mythical creatures, or talking animals facing a central conflict tied to the virtue.
Reflection Questions: A guided self-assessment section for children—alongside their parents or educators—to analyze the characters' behavior and connect it to their own daily experiences.
Practical Activity: A concrete game, dynamic, or exercise designed to playfully translate the virtue from the page straight into daily action.
This is a "bridge book" that beautifully unites the magic of classic storytelling with contemporary pedagogical needs. It provides parents and teachers with a practical, hands-on tool to help the next generation build the foundation for a meaningful, resilient, just, and happy life. Educating a child’s heart is the noblest adventure of all—and the greatest superpower we share.
