Marcus and Olivia have been together for three years. She is a bookseller and he is an engineer. Their life in Edinburgh appears idyllic, surrounded by her loving families and their close friends. But beneath the surface, Olivia doesn’t see Marcus’ real pain. It’s a day like any other, when Oliv-ia finds a letter he left behind. She desperately rushes to their favorite place only to find him life-less. A year goes by, Olivia lives isolated in a small apartment full of empty liquor bottles and smoked cigarettes. Even with the support of her friends, she refuses to live a life without Marcus, remaining trapped between sense of guilt and self-destruction. She finds herself in front of a crossroad: losing herself in a hole of pain or confront grief and try to live the life he wished for her.
