Since the beginning, the search for new eras resulted in a quest for power
The swords in the flesh, the bodies as trash, stones were moved to build a tower
Empires rose and empires fell, leaving ruins in their wake
The pages of history, stained with blood, the stories of our mistakes
The Lords and the Slaves, the cowards and braves, leaving their marks in time
Mankind being rated, some minds dominated, moving to make strength a crime
The clash of the nations repeated for centuries, stirred by bodies and minds
The game being played, betrayals revealed by those who are trying to hide
The scale now broken, the meridian stolen, setting fire to just one side
The Dragon waiting, the Sandstorm abrading, those who now have no need to hide
Near, so near - All this world in a fight
Far, so far - To the end of the gloom of the night
Lost, so lost - In the pit of fears
When hope flies in a vast cold wind, it goes away without minding the tears
The Time never smiles on those blinded by pride
Some crimes may invite fallen angels to glide
The Sky, Crimson Sky, by the bloodshed and waste
Everywhere there's no way to evade the Arrival of Fate
The worms consuming the flesh of the corpses who wanted to be alive
Enjoying the pleasures, the lust and the blindness, a promise given to survive
The holders of Power were forging the day to fall on all heads like a sword
And now, There's no one strong to face those vultures, deciding the food and the words
Near, so near - just a wasteland to see
Far, so far - the remains of the time we were free
Lost, so lost - In the sands of Time
When 4 Knights are seen on the horizon, there’s no more ground you can try to climb
The Time never smiles on those blinded by pride
Some crimes may invite fallen angels to glide
