"Una lectura más" es una historia inspirada en las vivencias de la directora y su familia.
Los libros y la pasión por la lectura han sido parte esencial de las vidas de las hermanas Eleonora y Mariana desde el principio, gracias a sus padres. Poco después de que Mariana, la menor, alcanzara la mayoría de edad, los padres murieron en un accidente cuando regresaban de un viaje. La casa y la colección de libros fue lo único que heredaron las hermanas. Eleonora y Mariana continuaron con la tradición de la lectura; así pasó un tiempo durante el cual, sin importar que tuvieran días buenos o malos con algún amigo, jefe o compañero de trabajo, siempre hallaron un refugio de paz, amor y complicidad en esos ratos de lectura en la casa en la cual habían crecido.
Un día, al volver del trabajo, Eleonora se encontró con una sorpresa: el primo Samuel estaba de visita, y se iba a quedar con ellas durante algunos días. De pronto, él revela una noticia que transforma el ambiente por completo, generando un torbellino de emociones en las hermanas y que, con el paso de los días, las llevará a experimentar dudas, tensiones y a tomar decisiones que afectarán para siempre y a muchos niveles todo aquello que las une.
Proyecto final del primer año de estudios en la Escuela de Cine y Artes Escénicas de Sevilla (ECAES).

"Una lectura más" (in English, "One more read"), is a story inspired by the experiences of the director and her family.
Books and a passion for reading have been an essential part of sisters Eleonora and Mariana's lives from the very beginning thanks to their parents. Shortly after Mariana, the youngest, turned eighteen, their parents died in an accident on their way back from a trip. The house and their book collection were all the sisters inherited. Eleonora and Mariana continued the tradition of reading. For a time, regardless of whether they had good or bad days with a friend, a boss, or a coworker, they always found a refuge of peace, love, and connection in those moments of reading in the house where they had grown up.
One day, upon returning from work, Eleonora was surprised to find their cousin Samuel visiting and staying with them for a few days. Suddenly, he reveals news that completely transforms the atmosphere, generating a whirlwind of emotions in the sisters and that, as the days go by, will lead them to experience doubts, tensions and to make decisions that will forever affect, on many levels, everything that unites them.
Final project of the first year of studies at ECAES.
