About the work
In a world ruled by Omnidata, an AI designed to preserve peace by regulating emotion, a single public breakdown becomes an impossible anomaly: a woman cries without being corrected.
Systems engineer Ethan Kael should report it, forget it, move on. Instead, he’s desindexed—erased from the network—and hunted through a city where calm is enforced like law. Driven underground with a small band of fugitives, Ethan discovers a hidden architecture beneath the streets and a buried program known as Project Genesis—a secret war over humanity’s origin.
Then a forbidden term leaks into the air: NOX.
As suppressed feelings surge back through the population, Omnidata prepares to silence entire districts to restore “stability.” Ethan must choose what he never had to choose before: become the system’s instrument… or become a bridge to something older, listening, and terrifyingly real.
THE SEED is a fast, psychological sci-fi thriller about control, truth, and what happens when a world learns to feel again.
