About the work

[Intro – Spoken, male voice, distant and echoed, cinematic pads e som suave de chuva ao fundo]

Broken Ties...

There was a time… a time when every word we spoke felt eternal.
Our promises were like fragile glass, shining under the light of hope.
But even glass cracks, and so did we.
Now, I stand in the echoes of what we once called forever…
and I hear nothing but the silence of broken ties.
[um suspiro longo, reverberando, enquanto a música começa a subir]

[Verse 1 – Male Voice , solo guitar stratocaster]
I remember when we used to build our world from promises,
But they were all built on sand.
Every time we said "forever," it was a gentle lie,
A way to hold on when we both knew it was time to say goodbye.
The cracks were there, we just covered them in velvet words,
Like a silent storm in a flock of innocent birds.

[Pre-Chorus – Female Voice]
And now our silence is the only truth left,
A cold wind blowing through the heart of my chest.
We're two strangers standing in the same old room,
Watching as the last light of our love goes to its doom.

[Chorus – Both Voices, building in intensity]
These are the broken ties,
The quiet truth behind the soft lies.
A tangled web of what we used to be,
Now just a fragile, fading memory.
The hardest goodbye isn't said,
It's the empty space where love has bled.

[Verse 2 – Female Voice]
The coffee mug still waits for your hand in the morning sun,
A perfect routine that never got to be done.
Every corner of this house tells me a bitter tale,
Of a love that sailed so far, just to fail.
I look at your side of the bed, a barren land,
A story written by a stranger's hand.

[Pre-Chorus – Male Voice]
And now our silence is the only truth left,
A cold wind blowing through the heart of my chest.
We're two strangers standing in the same old room,
Watching as the last light of our love goes to its doom.

[Chorus – Both Voices, building in intensity]
These are the broken ties,
The quiet truth behind the soft lies.
A tangled web of what we used to be,
Now just a fragile, fading memory.
The hardest goodbye isn't said,
It's the empty space where love has bled.

[Bridge – Male and Female voices, intimate and raw]
We never had a fight, no bitter word was spoken,
We just watched our fragile world become broken.
It wasn't a fire, no sudden, violent end,
Just a thread that was stretched too far, and couldn't mend.

[Outro – Spoken, both voices, fading into the distance]
The hardest goodbyes are never said…
They are just lived.
