About the work

The Elurien language has been developed for lyrics to be included in music. It will never be a spoken language and indeed further developments will always be towards the use purely in music.

The language has been developed from similar forms found in Open AI platforms as and transformed into Elurien integrating existing languages:

The beauty of Finnish language without the ‘en’ endings

The latin use of dipthongs such as ‘ae’ ‘ei’

The Yiddish and Neapolitan sounded ‘sh’

The Italian use of a vowel in every sillable

The language is also deprived of the strong ‘th’, ‘h’, sounds found in English language

Main rules that are applied when creating lyrics in Elurien from another language is that if a word ends with a consonant, the following word must be a vowel or vice-versa. Ecceptions to this rule is the use of the latin dipthongs ‘ae’ ‘ei’ etc.

Rare exception to the above rules are made if no other Elurien words can be used to maintain a poetic structure to the lyrics

Example in the use of Elurien in music can be found in the following songs:

From the Album ‘Born of Light’
Lindiel in Twilight
Breeze Before Dawn
Song of Light
Twilight Starlight

From the Album ‘Elariel’
Elariel Anore
Elariel Lomelinde
Lire Elenia Hummingbird
Song of the Twilight

From the Album Sinfonia Elenya
Brief forms of chorus found in various tracks
