About the work

With this project we aimed to propose a statistical model able to predict, at the time of the first demyelinating attack, a wide range of relevant outcomes at the individual level, accounting for most of the data available in clinical practice, including treatment exposure. This prognostic framework has been built as a set of models, one for each outcome, which we call Spider-MS model. This project, which has been successfully validated in an external cohort, has an eminent translational purpose.
