A teenager decides to commit suicide by jumping off the Hammersmith Bridge in London in the late 1970s. A strange hippie convinces him to do it. In the year 2025, already older, this same man tries to commit suicide again, the strange hippie appears again to prevent him. The man discovers that this stranger is the spirit of his father who, trapped on the bridge for having killed himself on it, protects him in his own way. They manage to put an end to the family drama between them, which frees the hippie's spirit, and the man decides to live and enjoy his future grandson to the end.
