PROLOGUE OF ÉQFELHÓN.
International Beast, Bridge of
Passion
When nations began to divide,
when progress raised its towers
but forgot how to embrace,
when technology connected
screens
but distanced gazes,and when walls
rosehigher
than hope…Then, the heavens made a
decision.
A sacred key was forged,made of fire,
breath, and tenderness,
and it was entrusted to the Goddess
of the Dawn,
Yasmín of the Dew,
the only one capable of awakening
humanity
without breaking it.Along with that key,
a protector was sent: Éqfelhón,
the golden creature with folded
wings
and an unbreakable soul.
He was not created to wage war.
He was created to remember.
To remember that there is a force
greater than politics:
the love of the game,
the joy of the goal,
the universal language of a ball rolling across the earth.
Éqfelhón represents international football,
not as competition,
but as a bridge.
A bridge that unites nations,
that tears down walls with a burning ball,
that gives embraces without asking names or flags,
that makes people sing together
who once wouldn’t even look at each other.
His roar does not frighten.
It awakens.
His steps do not harm.
They connect.
His existence is not political.
It is poetry in motion.
And as long as there is a child kicking a ball
anywhere in the world,
Éqfelhón will walk beside them.
