In distant places,
somewhere I lost my way,
in every color,
in all I was each day.
The glances, all the faces,
the photos left behind,
they face what once we were,
they mirror what I find.
From fire into sorrow,
in corners filled with pain,
we burned without a warning,

From sorrow into fire,
the flames erased the ache,
the ashes left behind us,
