EL PROBLEMA endémico de la poesía es lo blando, lo cursi, lo inocuo. El mismo sonido de la palabra, poesía, nunca me ha gustado, porque predispone a decir cosas formales o bonitas en vez de profundas o tremendas. Aquí no existen más que dos caminos: o aceptas la belleza reglamentaria o escribes contra ella. Un poeta antibelleza debe tener en el frontispicio de su mente la siguiente máxima: “NUNCA ESCRIBIRÉ UN POEMA QUE LE PUEDA GUSTAR A MI MADRE”.
