About the work
Is it possible to change the future?
Tanit and her family have just successfully completed a mission entrusted to them by a goddess more than a thousand years in their future. They have managed to recover a strange object that a Fallen God desperately seeks to free himself from his chains: The Orb of Transcendence.
Bai A'thok must never find this mysterious object, but the instructions they will receive are so vague that the girl and her nest do not even know where to begin to look for a safe hiding place that will protect them and the Orb.
Even though the Fallen God could find them before they can hide such a dangerous artifact, Tanit will decide to change the chances of success for humanity in the gigantic battle that she knows will take place a millennium later: Even at the risk of creating a paradox, she and her nest will return to the Solar System for a last attempt to warn humans of the danger of the Bai R'the and their creepy god.
What they do not know is that trying to change the future entails its own problems...
