CATRI EN LA FUENTE
La Catrina fue a por agua
a la fuente de mi pueblo,
y se le rompió el botijo
cuando lo tenía lleno.
Luego se lavó las manos
porque la muy señorita,
pensaba que estaba sucio
el mango de la botija.
Y yo la vi regresar
con superficial aspecto…
¡Si hasta para ir a la fuente
llevaba los guantes puestos!
