About the work

Greece in the golden age, before the heroes, when the gods came down to Earth, coexisting with humans and other earthly creatures.

Hyacinthus, prince of Sparta, is the opposite of his siblings, he finds happiness in contemplation and not in war. His enormous beauty is talked about in every corner of Greece, to the point that even the gods know of his existence. This is how several deities, among them, Zephyrus, Boreas and Apollo set their gaze on the young man, ready to immerse themselves in a competition to caress his heart.

The sun god, upon discovering that the king of Sparta is looking for a new master for Hyacinthus, does not hesitate, coming down to Earth to meet him and give him the opportunity to love him the way he already does. However, his goal will not only be this but also to teach the prince to observe the world with a broader perspective.

Things will become more complicated when the gods of the winds enter the game, thus narrating the myth we all know in a more intimate and intrinsically beautiful way.

This is the English translation from the original Spanish retelling "Hyacinthus".
