The Indian outlaw gang leader’s mother was a white woman kidnapped as a child, and his father, a Comanche warrior, run astray. His own people cast Wood Duck out, so he hates all races passionately and equally. Death and destruction follow in his wake as he leaves a trail of blood from Fort Boise to Yellowstone Valley and the mountains above.
Despite Dahteste’s desires, Levi Johnson feels he must go on such a dangerous journey with his best friend, Will. The rest of the mountain men and wives wait anxiously for their hopeful return.
