About the work
Cloud atmospheres are site-specific temporary interventions created in public space. The first one was created for Noche en Blanco'07 (Madrid) and consisted of a real cloud installed in front of the historical monument “Puerta de Alcalá” in Madrid. The cloud was created using a new misting technology and consisted of nothing more than water spray particles suspended in the air. The installation offered almost a million visitors the opportunity to experience a natural phenomenon in the heart of the city.
