The Americans had successfully gotten their thousand pounds of cocaine out of Bolivia. Now they had to turn it into cash. The plan was to unload half in the Big Apple. Manhattan was the center of the rich and famous, that rode on the coattails of the new cocaine fad. The rest was to go to the ancient City of Amsterdam—the drug capital of Europe. There were a thousand pounds of pure cocaine for both markets, and the consumers were chomping at the bit to get more.
The year was 1976, and the American Government’s focus on the drug trade had already gone from marijuana to cocaine. At this point, it was still limited to the rich and famous in America and Europe, but that was about to change. Local consumers couldn’t get enough Black Magic. It was the best quality cocaine the dealers had ever seen.
The American narcos must move their thousand pounds of 95% pure ether-based cocaine out of Alcatraz, their Colombian home, and to the States and Europe. This adventure takes them on an escape route that stretches across the globe as they make millions and millions of dollars and stay just ahead of the police and the gangs.
What’s the next step for Jack Rivers and his longtime partner, Rory Banks? Will it be the penthouse suite they planned in the new development of Rodadero, or will they all end up in an American or European jail? The DEA has gotten word about the new quality filling both the New York and Amsterdam markets, and they intended to find the culprits and put a stop to it. Especially now, they had heard about the gang responsible for the new mother of pearl cocaine. They were said to be known as the American Narcos.
