About the work
In 2044, after World War III, there is only one woman and one man alive in the United States. Rose is a straight woman who lives in Dallas. Jack is a gay man in Miami. He finds her, after looking for survivors. She falls in love with him when he saves her from a saber-toothed tiger. The brunette, as a gratitude, tries to seduce him to have sex with him. There is an insignificant problem: he isn’t attracted to her. Both know they have to repopulate the earth. It is their duty. He is under pressure.
Rose will try many ways to make him fall in love with her, without success. When he confesses to her the truth about his sexual orientation to explain why he doesn’t sleep with her, she goes crazy. He leaves their home to go to the library to get books regarding electricity and artificial insemination. On his way, he has an accident when a flowerpot hits his head. The blonde man loses his memory and his sexual orientation. Now, he is straight. She must decide if she keeps silent to live a lie and have children or tell him the truth about who is him. True love or lust? The sake of humanity is in their hands.
