About the work
A widowed Oslovian (IDA) and a rebellious punk rocker from St. Paul, Minnesota (AKSEL) discover they’re co-beneficiaries to the will of Ida’s brother. Ida has no idea who this prickly, witty, resourceful foreigner is. Neither she nor Aksel has a clue why he was named a beneficiary for although his mother is Norwegian, she has no relation to Ida or her deceased brother. Or so it seems at first. Yet per the terms of the will, they have 2 weeks to decide on who gets what, and at story’s outset both are almost broke. If they can´t agree, the entire estate goes to charity.
It´s hate at first sight. Aksel and Ida start from the same negotiating position. I deserve 100%. You? Zero.
