In this second installment of Wagon Train, Slim Hardwood and his nephew Walt, are now minus a wagon master, Willis Hardwood, who was killed in a recent Indian attack. But they must swallow down their grief and press on. The challenges facing these travelers are relentless. From wagon breakdowns to inclement weather, to Indian attacks, to swollen rivers, and a host of other unforeseeable perils, the Hardwood Wagon train continues rolling toward its destination. How many of the 200 travelers will survive and make it to their promised land? That remains to be seen, but there are definitely fewer of them now than when they began.
Climb aboard for a trip of a lifetime. Experience what these earlier settlers experienced, but be sure to bring a weapon and plenty of ammunition along. A gut full of determination is also highly recommended. This untamed land is unforgiving. One slip up, one mistake, and it could be your last.
