Cinco de Mayo is Not a Thing is a scripted comedy web series about Liliana, a girl who is extremely excited that she just moved to the US, as she expects high fashion, hot mysterious guys and scandalous sex in every class. However, her dreams get crashed in the first day of school in Mary Hart High School, South Dakota where she gets an assignment about Mexican Independence Day: Cinco de Mayo. That’s when the whole revolution starts.
This series follows Liliana, a white-passing Mexican teenager with an edge from an upper-class Mexican family, sister of Carolina, The Virgin Mary’s biggest fan and her new friend Tom, American as apple pie and yummy just the same through their adventures.
