The journey of Rama is based on one of the greatest Indian books called Ramayana, a long poem of more than 24,000 stanzas, which narrates the exploits of Rama.
History tells that the God Brama asked the poet Valmiki to write it, and he did. Rama, married to Sita, is the son of King Dasaratha, and is going to succeed his father, when, due to palace intrigues, he is banished to the jungle, where he is accompanied by his wife and his brother Lakshmana. There, Sita is kidnapped by the demon king and transported to the island of Sri Lanka. Rama allies himself with the monkey army led by Hanuman, they go in search of her and free her.
