About the work
The guys are partying and enjoying the festivities in Mexico. While they are discussing how cool the big parade is, they meet a local, Gustavo, who shatters their illusions. He reveals that the city only started doing a parade after tourists came expecting what they saw in a James Bond movie. He offers to bring them to his family’s home to show them how locals really celebrate the holiday.
Sean and Luis are always up for an adventure, so they join Gustavo. Beautiful footage of the remarkable celebrations in Mixquic is intercut with Gustavo’s explanation of the holiday. At his home, the two discover a rich display of Mexican heritage, but a bored and drunk Sean offends his hosts by desecrating a sacred relic.
From this moment on, Sean’s world is turned upside down.
