About the work
Emiro and Ana had a small farm where they raised hens and bees. They had a donkey named Pancho. Once there was a severe drought and they all suffered hunger. Emiro put on a pair of green glasses on Pancho’s eyes so that he would eat the dry grass. Many years after that drought Ana died and Emiro felt very lonely. By making Emiro remember that terrible drought, Pancho made him realize that life continued and they all, the bees, the hens, and him loved him.
