The documentary series ANTIQUITY SEEKERS is an adventure into the past, an epic expedition across ancient Africa, Asia, America and Europe led by famous archaeologist and TV presenter Prof. Joann Fletcher and her partner, acclaimed archaeological scientist Dr. Stephen Buckley.
Combining Jo’s expertise and passion with Stephen’s scientific genius, these partners in both life and work are the Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson of the ancient past.
A charismatic, funny yet brilliant couple, we follow them as they embark on the most challenging journey of their lives, to rediscover the hidden truths of the ancient past
in an adventure that will change them forever and bring us history as we’ve never seen it before.
During the course of six one-hour episodes per season, our two seekers embark on their epic journey exploring the astonishing treasures of the past. And as they begin to
unravel the unbelievable connections between the great civilizations of the ancient world, each season will explore these civilizations and the major themes that connect
them in so many ways.
So come with us on this compelling adventure around the globe as we join Jo and Stephen on their quest to uncover some of the past’s greatest mysteries.
