In this paper we will show the resolution of the N queensproblem using different algorithms. The algorithm A* and Weighted A*will be used together with different heuristics. The problem will alsobe solved by genetic algorithms, combining different reproduction andmutation functions. The main objective is to compare the performancebetween the different algorithms
