A world-renowned opera singer, Angelika is recovering from an attempted suicide by cutting open her throat. She ultimately failed. The result has left her temporarily voiceless with a deep wound across her neck.
She's moved into this foreign town to recover and find her voice again. But until she's fully healed, Angelika has lost the ability to speak...or scream.
