RESUMEN
El mundo ha sido agitado por una pandemia que ha golpeado con dureza los sistemas sanitarios, sociales y económicos de un gran número de países. Se han tenido que tomar medidas sin precedentes que han obligado a millones de ciudadanas y ciudadanos a confinarse en sus hogares para evitar la propagación del SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19). Debido a las particularidades y al alto índice de contagio del virus, tales medidas de confinamiento requieren ser suprimidas progresivamente, lo que hace necesario tener que diseñar e implementar programas de desescaladas de las restricciones a nivel estatal. Este artículo propone, desde el ámbito psicológico, un programa de medidas basado en la teoría del nudge («empujón» es español) y en el método choice arquitecture («estructura de las decisiones» en español) que tiene por objetivo apoyar el proceso de retorno a una realidad en el que la ciudadanía se verá obligada, por un intervalo de tiempo indeterminado, a aprender a convivir con el virus.
ABSTRACT
The world has been shaken by a pandemic that has hit hard the health, social and economic systems of a large number of countries. Unprecedented measures have been taken that have forced millions of citizens to confine themselves to their homes to prevent the spread of SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19). Due to the peculiarities and the high contagion rate of the virus, such containment measures need to be progressively abolished, making it necessary to design and implement programs to ease the restrictions at the state level. This article proposes, from the psychological field, a program of measures based on the theory of the nudge («empujón» in Spanish) and on the choice architecture («estructura de las decisiones» in Spanish) that aims to support the process of return to a reality in which citizens will be forced, for an indefinite period, to learn to live with the virus.
