This set of reflections and analyzes aims to be my contribution to the coronavirus crisis, contributing what I know or can do, like other groups and professionals who have also lent their shoulders from their skills and possibilities. Hence, therefore, the subtitle of this work, since in it I gather what I have thought sociologically during confinement. But is that in addition to the current crisis has made me reflect and write new content, it turns out that what I have written before is also perfectly valid to understand what is happening to us; hence the references to my treatise on our species or, specifically, to any of the books and/or articles already published in this regard. In fact and for example, the importance of the Social State and public services, such as health care, is now widely spoken and recognized, something that I defended and demonstrated in my article “The Fallacy of the Free Market”, available on the Internet since July 2017 (www.researchgate. Net). My article “Redefining ourselves” (https://nefelismos.com.ve) is also topical as never before, since if something gets us out of this situation it is precisely the capacity for ideation, which is our essence, characteristic and what identifies us and specializes, as I have also previously pointed out in my book Animal of realities (2019); especially when it comes to insisting and advising how convenient it is that we enhance this capacity, for which it is vital that we assume it and do it both individually, socially and culturally.
