Synopsis:
On a hot night in the summer of 1938, more than 100,000 men crouching in the dark await the signal to advance and cross the Ebro River. It’s the Republican Army’s last chance to win back a war it’s losing.
The Spanish fighters and those coming from all over the world to form the International Brigades will face a long and bloody battle that will decide the future of the country and the decades to come.
The fighting soldiers have passed through other fronts of combat: the Uprising in Madrid, the massacre of Badajoz, the bombing of Gernika… and they still have to go through the trance of exile and the Nazi camps.
The young men trained on the various Republican fronts face the elite troops of General Franco.
