Urban Courts is a factual series about sports, people, life, and the world we live in. The urban courts are located in the heart of the cities. Our focus is on those anonymous, amateur athletes who come to the courts self- motivated, seeking for a compliment or a refuge to their daily life and turning the pavement into space for personal improvement.
The city and the stories that happen there will be our fellow travelers.
All stories are defined with a character in a countdown. Here, the characters will live out their last lasts. The last days before leaving his country, the last days of its centenary grandmother in the slum or the last days of Kendo’s school in Tokyo.
Our first seson is focus on 7 Asian cities where we will discover 7 different sports: Mumbai (cricket), Tokio (kendo), Hanoi (sepak takraw), Bangkok (muay thai), Phnompenh (bokator), Jakarta (sepak bola api) and Hong Kong (parkour)
