A massive earthquake devastates Los Angeles. Thousands are dead, injured and trapped under the rubble. Communications barely work and finding your loved ones has become a mirable that only a few manage. Amid the chaos, Spanish couple Carmen and Alfonso (50) who have just arrived in Los Angeles with their grandson Nico (8) to visit their daugther Eva, try in vain to find her. But the situatino becomes even more complicated for them: neither Carmen nor Alfonso know English. They do not know where Eva is and thelephones do not work. They are lost and alone amid the chaos of a totally unknown city.
Will they be able to survive and find Eva?
