🇬🇧 Making modifications to patterns to suit your taste is sometimes very complicated, especially if you have no knowledge of sewing or pattern making.
Most of the patterns we find don't need modifications of any kind and you can find almost any garment you are looking for in different styles to suit you.
But sometimes it is inevitable to make some small modifications.
I usually do it on the fabric and then pass it on to the pattern, but it's a bit messy and difficult to do if you don't have some practice or minimal knowledge.
If you're new to sewing or don't have the skill, it's best to do it on the pattern. Measure the pattern and your body well so that both match. And take into account the fabric as well.

🇪🇸 Hacer modificaciones en los patrones para adaptarlos a tu gusto a veces resulta muy complicado sobre todo si no se tienen conocimientos de costura o patronaje.
La mayoría de los patrones que encontramos no necesitan modificaciones de ningún tipo y puedes encontrar casi cualquier prenda que busques de distintos estilos para que se adapten a ti.
Pero a veces es inevitable hacer alguna pequeña modificación.
Yo suelo hacerlo en la tela y después pasarlo al patrón, pero es un poco lioso y difícil de hacer si no se tiene cierta practica o conocimientos mínimos.
Si eres novata en la costura o no tienes la destreza, lo mejor es hacerlo en el patrón. Mide bien el patrón y tu cuerpo para que ambos coincidan. Y ten en cuenta la tela también.
