Del rabo, el compositor y las dos orejas is a cualitative research which the main objetive is “Identify the composer of the Cabra Mocha”. The Cabra Mocha is a famous gaita, very known on Zulia State, in Venezuela. It has a composer debate, which is very common in the folkloric context. The problem with this situation is about the identity’s elements of the cultural heritage and the intellectual property. Likewise, the context offers semiotic elements that could show features of a specific population in a specific time and space through the song.
