The series attempts to reveal to audiences who Lorca was, what he was actually like, what happened to him, and to portray his close family and friends, his mentors, and those who felt that all he represented was a threat to Spain. The series attempts to de-mythify Lorca; to show him for all his talents, and his faults, and to explore the nature of his genius - showing how his genius was both his muse and at times his torment
