A new TV documentary charting an epic road trip that connects two extremes of the Eurasian continent. However, the series is also about making connections along the ancient trade routes with the cultures that flourished there and that continue to influence our lives today.
Heading east on the road to Singapore, the British and Spanish presenters compare these exceptionally diverse worlds with their homelands, bringing us a multitude of interesting, entertaining and curious connections.
Andy and Jose Luis, relative strangers, undertake this cultural journey looking at music, architecture, winemaking, dance, gastronomy, and a host of other traditions and along the route and discover what has linked them in the past.
