Winter set with force and persistence; it froze and penetrated every crack, filtered every nook, every cavity; insidious it disregarded any form of privacy invading the most intimate spots.
Snow has fallen all night on Jabiru ;it has invaded Arnhem Land for the first time in forty years. Jabiru is a small town in the wilderness area in the northeast corner of Australia’s Northern Territory, it's a wild, spiritual and diverse place. The expanse invoked strong feelings and a powerful sense of timelessness; the landscape has for so long time remained unchanged; balanced due to the harmonious co-existence of the peoples with this place.

La nieve era lo suficientemente profunda para caminar pero no tanta como para evitar desplazarse por ella; sinembargo el viento soplaba lo suficientemente fuerte para oponer resistencia al avance del hombre que aún así no se detuvo; fue en ese momento que una enorme ráfaga de nieve le cayó en los ojos.
