What is Artoriums? It is a new tool that promotes works of art, books, or (why not) personal skills. How does it work? The principle of operation of such a system is quite simple and allows users (writers, artists and actors) to post their works on the social media walls of hundreds and thousands of other artists, writers or actors. In change, they leaves other artists and writers to post on their social media walls. It's that easy. For example, let's say that we are 10 writers and each one has his own book to sell. If I publish my book on my own Facebook doesn’t help, because all my friends have already seen it there repeatedly. But if we are 10 people which we exchanged posts on Artoriums then tomorrow my book will be on the wall of another writer where potential readers will see it, later on another wall and every day on another wall. This is just one example of 10 users. Now imagine that we are thousands and my posts has an algorithm that runs every 15 minutes on another wall. How many people can see them then? Thousands and thousands.
As we all know, the advertising on the internet is very expensive! For a writer that gains 3$ on which book to compete with a pair of shoes where the profit is 25$ is very difficult if not impossible. But in this way we obtain advertising at a price that is quite modest. The idea was born when I saw that the big publishers no longer risk with new writers. This causes a tremendous injustice to new writers and artists who do not have the means to afford themselves an expensive publicity. With Artoriums this injustice is reduced a lot, as thousands of writers and artists will share their works together.
What do I win and what I am loosing? Well, we won't have to repeat ourselves since it is clear that the work of a writer or artist will be on many walls. Apart of that, your wall gain on quality of content, which eventually materialize in more followers. Loses? I don't think that one loose nothing if your wall will display the works of artists and writers. On the contrary, your social media wall wins in quality of content.
