(Lauingen, Baviera, 1193/1206 – Colonia, 15 de noviembre de 1280), sacerdote, obispo y Doctor de la Iglesia, fue un destacado teólogo, geógrafo, filósofo y figura representativa de la química y, en general un polímata de la ciencia medieval.
