WAVES IN THE OCEAN
I hear myself crying out loud, it’s loneliness
The more I hear, the more I fall
I used to hope that every day would be just great:
Nineteen years and some miles ago
I’ve been living in a fantasy, and I’ve never beaten the enemy
Who has wasted many days: it’s me
I’m lost inside my pain, it hurts now, I just can’t see any light
I feel my life flowing away, I’ve lost my way through waves
And the waves are all my days passed by
I do remember everything – I do remember now where I’ve been
All of my days and all my dreams – I do remember now all my sins
And through a wide ocean, through all fears my days go by
Here I am facing one more time my loneliness: the enemy inside of me
I used to live like in a movie: another life, while my own one was passing by

I do remember every spring – I do remember now where I’ve been

Wide is the ocean where my days sail away
Where in this ocean will my waves get someday…?
Sometimes I feel like I did yesterday: every sunrise’s a brand new day
Every sunset is just a way to thank I’m still alive
