Resumen:
El presente estudio propone una revisión y reinterpretación del debate historiográfico en torno al linaje de santa Teresa. Para ello, analizaremos las distintas corrientes historiográficas dentro de su contexto sociopolítico con el objetivo de comprender el desarrollo de las mismas. Añadiremos nuestra perspectiva de este personaje e intentaremos contribuir a completar el conocimiento que se tenía sobre el linaje judeoconverso de Teresa de Jesús.

Abstract:
The present study suggests a review and reinterpretation about the historiographic debate on the linage of Santa Teresa. In order to do it, the distinctive historiographic approaches will be analysed within its sociopolitical context with the aim of understanding the development of themselves. Our own perspective of this historic figure will be added in an attempt to contribute and complete the notions about the converted Jew linage of Teresa de Jesús.
