The city that never dies

About the work

circle-no-10:
in the city that never dies
tired eyes roll up the sky
wicked witches are flying high
caring nought for those in line.
empty streets, and broken lights
casting shadows seen by none
the silent echo howling wild
we’re all going to die.
but meet me at the border
go where I reside
I’m borderline by nature
borderline by choice.
I expect you at the crossing
betwixt the pillars of light
no empty street awaits you
you’re not going to die.
we’ll join the line astanding
steady on the ground
