He often wonders of
the early years
was there badness lurking
shades of fear
was there someone there
bad in heart
wishing ill
for the boy
playing the
innocent part
As a wee little boy he
skipped around
hated cycling as much
as swimming along
the fish was caught
in early morn
grand father drunk
lies were told
The years went on
the skipping stopped
he started cycling and
swimming of sort
the grand father died but
the drinking of ale
escaping of life
continues today
