There are European countries where homosexuals do not even have the right to celebrate a civil union. In Denmark, however, same-sex couples can get married even in church. The Trinity church in the center of Copenhagen, is one of the places known for this purpose. The priestess, a woman with two children and married to another woman, invites all kinds of local and international artists to perform during Mass on Tuesdays.
The artist Susanna Herálvsdóttir was doing a sound check the same day we were interviewing the priestess Mia Rahr for a documentary in progress, about the LGBTQ communities and movements in Denmark and Poland.
