Evening falls over the outskirts of a certain Mediterranean city that enjoys its anonymity. On a Friday in May – while orange, pink, and violet streak across the sky – a wandering cloud dances across the same dim light that favors the unfavorable. Julián is following this light, but only as far as it interests him. Up and down a certain national road a hard to ignore landscape spreads out. Further on, at a roundabout, Julián takes precisely the only exit not indicated, toward an entryway on an unfinished road.
This is how the story begins. Where silence is just another sound is not just a story about cruising, or sex. It is a story about a world that's locked inside another world, like those Russian dolls.
