SOCIAL CLUB

SALLY FREEMAN is 18 and about to start university, where she will get ready to succeed her father in running the Social Club. A place frequented by wealthy, conservative families. A place where many society balls are held and the city’s most important business deals are settled during a game of golf. Sally is the perfect daughter. She’s intelligent, she’s pretty and she’s fun, but she has one defect: she’s in love with MICHAEL.
Sally was happy living in a carefree world of luxury… until Michael appeared in her life. Michael is handsome and smart, but he’s poor. He has just started working at the Social Club as a waiter and he isn’t exactly the kind of boy that Sally’s father would want as a son-in-law. Michael isn’t like COLIN, the heir to one of the largest fortunes in the city and, in her father’s opinion, the perfect suitor for the girl.
Michael and Sally meet during the party at the club to celebrate the engagement of ALICIA, Sally’s older sister, to a well-known lawyer… and there is an immediate attraction between them. Sally lets herself be carried along by Michael, who shows her a new world, a world of freedom, of motorbike rides in the moonlight… a world far removed from the luxury to which she is accustomed, but full of fun. Sally feels really alive… and she’s happy. Really happy. But her dream will soon be cut short, because when her family finds out, they will do everything possible to separate them.
A place where all the important events are celebrated. A rich girl, a poor boy… A father worried about his legacy, a jealous sister, a possessive mother. A story of love, power and class.
