Es reconocer que allí se vive hacia dentro. Es compartir el aire, la silla, la palabra, el verano, el duelo, la risa y el pan. Es saber que cada puerta guarda una historia íntima y pública a la vez. Entrar a un patio es, siempre, regresar a la patria humilde y luminosa, volver a un corazón de cal y agua con el que la vida, a pesar de todo, sigue floreciendo. A veces lentamente, otras de golpe.
